iBUYPOWER Pro Revolt 2 9330 Gaming PCUS 1+
Value for Money Score8.8/10
Specifications and Features Score8.7/10
While it is the wise thing to choose at least when a gaming PC is concerned, some people want their rigs to look different.
This is why there are so many chassis options available, along with various customizations, and some of these are not as dull as the others.
The iBUYPOWER Revolt 9330 certainly looks different, and even though it may not provide outstanding performance, it surely won’t bore with its looks.
But if you keep in mind that it is after all an entry to mid-range gaming PC, the performance is still quite alluring.
There’s also WIFI and Bluetooth available for connectivity, but you’d have to make do with the previous generation.
Those, and more, we would be talking about in the upcoming sections of this review.

iBUYPOWER Pro Revolt 2 9330 Gaming PC Review
Buy for: Looks unique │ Decent specs
Beware of: Not very upgradeable or expandable
Best uses for: Multiple gaming, Call of Duty and other games
If you’re planning to get a decently configured and affordable gaming PC in a not-so-ordinary shell, then the iBUYPOWER Revolt 9330 desktop might be for you. But it won’t be as upgradable or convenient to access as any other tower desktop, and that has to be noted as well.
Design and Build
The Revolt 9330 is a lot about visual appeal and can be easily mistaken for a trophy or artifact from a video game you play, it is that much different.
It is also quite compact, and when you look at it from the side, it looks like a big stream iron.
Instead of using it on your garments or other clothing though, you can use this for heated gaming sessions.
The chassis is divided into two portions mainly, the black one which has the ports and all, and the other white.
These differently colored parts of the chassis certainly complement each other, and the removable glass panel extends from the front, over the top, up to the back.
Unlike other tower-like designs, the glass panel does not give away too much of the internal components.
Rather, only a few, like the video card and storage drive are visible, and there’s RGB lighting inside as well.
You can remove the storage drive easily, but other major components take a bit more effort.
But access to these only requires you to remove two screws at the back that release the side panel.
The most important part about the desktop is that it is fairly compact. Now at 18 x 15 x 9 inches it isn’t the smallest mini-ITX build but is still small enough. You aren’t supposed to hide something like this under your desk or table.
Instead, it is to be adored, as a part of the rest of your gaming setup. It can get heavy though, so we wouldn’t call it the most portable.
And though there are things that we genuinely like about the chassis, they do not overshadow the fact that there are serious upgrade restrictions.
The iBUYPOWER Revolt 9330 was not meant to be the most powerful of the lot, but even then, it comes with some genuinely impressive hardware.
As a result, the kind of performance it offers suffices the needs of the average gamer.
And not just that, this mid-range processor can also be overclocked and is one of the very few budget Intel CPUs that support it.
The desktop also comes with the 6 GB GTX 1660 Super video card, which when combined with the processor, makes the Revolt 9330 a formidable 1080p gaming device.
We are talking about any major title that is played currently, be it Call of Duty or Forza Horizon, the desktop can handle almost any genre of video gaming.
There are a handful of games that can be run at 1440p, but the desktop struggles to maintain constant 60 fps in this resolution in most of them.
And not just that, there’s also support for VR gaming, and you can also try out content creation with these specs.
Suppose you have a streaming or gaming channel on any of the major platforms, in which case the desktop can be used as the daily driver. And, nothing is stopping you from performing general office productivity tasks either, on this PC.
However, there are certain things regarding the desktop that you should know of.
To begin with, the hardware upgrade restrictions also restrict the desktop’s overall performance, and as a result, it isn’t future-proof as much.
You may think that replacing the motherboard might be the solution here, but in that case, you’d also have to figure out a way to manage the thermals.
Overclocking a PC this small, with almost no provisions to add more cooling, can be troublesome.
Other than that, there’s Windows 10 Home installed in it.
Storage and RAM
The same goes for the RAM, and although you may expand the 8 GB already present, there are only two slots.
For the kind of performance you may expect, that is sufficient, but again, it is not very expandable.
Ports and Connectivity
Don’t let the design fool you, as the desktop still has a few frontal ports, right where you need them.
These are two USB 3.0 kinds, and a headphone and a mic jack.
So the desktop is also multi-monitor capable. There are also PS/2 ports, in case you need those.
The desktop also comes with WIFI and Bluetooth ready-to-use, though these may not be readily available on every model due to the choice of the motherboard.
A decent mouse and keyboard come with the desktop, which isn’t as utilitarian as dedicated gaming ones, but one can make do with them in casual usage.
There’s also a 1-year warranty on it, along with free tech support throughout.

What Do Users Think About iBUYPOWER Pro Revolt 2 9330?
The buyers of the iBUYPOWER Pro Revolt 2 9330 were those people to whom looks certainly mattered more than usual.
But they also needed their desktop to deliver performance, and not just look good. From the overall reactions, it can be said that this desktop was worth it to them.
The desktop surely looks different, and better than most other boring tower PCs, At the same time, it does have things like RGB lighting and tempered glass that users have liked.
Also, as the side panel comes off easily, they had no trouble reaching the internal components.
The performance of the desktop was found to be impressive as well like the users have mentioned.
There were little to no noise or thermal issues, and the setup was easy and quick too. And most people consider it a good upgrade, over the devices that were replaced with it.
The specs and configuration of the desktop were found acceptable. However, for some the fact that the desktop came with an unlocked processor, but still did not support overclocking was disappointing.
But not everyone was interested in things like this, so it was a matter of preferences. Check out Revolt 2 Build Guide.
Those that did hope to overclock did not like the fact that the RAM frequencies could not be boosted either.
Other than that, some have found improper hardware, like faulty RGB lighting, or loose cabling, which wasn’t appreciated.
Yet others have found issues with the quality of the motherboard and storage drives. Now those under warranty were replaced by iBUYPOWER, but this is still an issue nonetheless.
A lot of the buyers consider the RAM present by default to be insufficient, and as a result, have chosen to upgrade it to at least 16 GB from the very beginning.
So with all of that said, the PC can be considered to have fulfilled its purpose of looking unique and performing as per expectations.
