Lenovo Ideacentre 510 AIO Review by Expert
Buy For: Large touch screen display │Fast Performance
Beware Of: Steep price tag │Limited upgrades
Verdict
The Lenovo IdeaCentre 510 is a must to consider if you are thinking about buying an AIO and are also having a wide budget. Unless saving space is not that much of an importance and you will be needing upgrades in the future, you might want to consider a laptop or any other alternative. This PC is strong in its position, but there are better options available.
Design and Build
The white color scheme of this PC along with the display quality is simply a treat for the eyes.
The narrow edges of the display are never going to bother your vision, no matter if you are working, reading or watching a movie.
The Lenovo Ideacentre 510 is having a touch screen display, and the screen measures 23″.
With an FHD resolution (1920* 1080p), no matter what you see on the PC would appear lively and colorful.
The screen unit envelopes all the major components, so you only need that much space on your desk in which the stand fits.
All the ports are at the rear, so you wouldn’t have to manage cables on your own.
The stand is stable and allows limited alteration to the viewing angle. Check out Best Desktop Computers for Elderly.
Performance
The PC flaunts a 6th gen Intel i7-6700T processor which has a clock rate of 2.8 GHz and is a top-notch one.
There is also 8 GB of RAM available, thus making sure of smooth functioning.
The problem here is the graphics, which is an integrated Intel 530 video card.
This largely holds back the performance of the AIO and since you cannot make a substantial graphics upgrade, this is something you have to bear with throughout the lifespan of the computer.
Windows 10 OS should work perfectly with the touch screen.
Storage and RAM
In this device, you get both of the storage types, a hard disk, and an SSD.
The hard disk is of 1 TB and will be used to store every sort of data while the 128 GB SSD will store the system files and ensure fast boot ups.
The RAM by default is of 8 GB and based on the other specs, you would not require an upgrade.
However, even if you do, there is no scope for expansion. Check out Best Desktops for Financial Modeling.
Ports and Connectivity
There are several ports for your convenience. Firstly, there are 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front.
Then, there is 3 USB 2.0 type at the front as well. You get both HDMI in and out ports, so you can use it as a monitor to view content from another computer, set-top box, etc.
There is also a headphone jack and a multi-card reader.
Next, there are also 802.11 a/b/ac/g/n Wifi besides an RJ45 slot for internet and Standard Bluetooth features present.

A Wireless Keyboard and Mouse comes with the product and so does a McAfee Antivirus trial.
There are inbuilt speakers as well. A warranty of 1 year has also been provided.

They hold similar views to that of the experts above and think that although the webcam is private, it was better placed on top as the other desktops have. They say that other AIO’s like the Lenovo 700 and Apple iMac would be better alternatives to this.
