To perform various multitasking jobs this PC of Lenovo is one of the most affordable options available in the market till now. Its configurations are quite updated which include SSD, 16GB Ram, an efficient processor, etc; and some of them are slightly upgradable in the future. So for casual users, this device is a great deal.

Design & Build

We have already mentioned earlier in this article that this PC has a very simple outfit. It is very compactly designed and is packed almost at the size of a hardcover book.

The build quality of it is superb and mainly made from sturdy steel. Its design is very common with the earlier models of the ThinkCentre M series.

7 inches x 7.2 inches x 1.4 inches are the measurements of this Lenovo ThinkCentre M75Q Desktop.

So, like the other systems of this series, this product can also be fitted at any corner of a busy commercial house.

There are some ports at the front side of the chassis that include two USB 3.2 ports, one headset jack.

There is one USB Gen2 Type-A port and the other is a Type-C port.

In some other 1L PCs, we can locate three USB ports on the front panel; but as it is very compact in size, we got only two, on the front side.

The HDMI port and other display ports are located on the rare side of the system. The other USB ports are also placed at the rare side of the system.

By opening a single screw one can get easy access into the internal section of the PC. Inside the chassis, there is a 2.5 inches SATA tray.

This tray can be installed or removed without any tools.

As this product is very compactly designed, its internal section is very clumsy and one needs an advanced hand to upgrade it.

We all know that the performance of any desktop is more or less dependent upon the components that are used in it.

This particular product of Lenovo comes with a very standard configuration. It has an efficient processor named AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 3400GE.

It is a quad-core processor. The average clock speed that the users can experience from this processor is 3.3 GHz.

But the processor can also be operated at a clocking speed of 4.0 GHz while performing any CPU-oriented tasks.

2 MB Cache memory is also present in it, which helps it to open the frequently used software in a fraction of a second.

This processor is a good choice for performing any multi-tasking operation, and any easy to moderate level tasks can easily and smoothly be run by it.

The graphical performance of this product is not very satisfying. To tackle down various basic level graphical contents, this PC has AMD Radeon Vega 11.

So it is advised not to play any type of game on this device. If the user is intended to play a game on this device, then he needs to upgrade its GPU section.

It is to be noted that the GPU upgradation facility in this product is also limited.

The users can easily watch videos up to 1080 pixels without any hesitation in this product.

But this computer is not able to tackle 4K content. Windows 10 Professional 64 bit operating system is preinstalled in this device.

Storage & RAM

This compactly designed desktop of Lenovo is mainly made to perform multitasking operations.

In this respect, the data processing speed plays a very vital role and this speed is mainly dependent upon the Ram and storage capacity and their type.

We all know that by using a solid-state drive we can experience much faster processing than using the traditional hard disks.

So, the developers have put an SSD in this PC and its capacity is 500 GB. 16 GB DDR4 RAM is used in this product.

This initial Ram and storage capacity are sufficient to perform any basic to moderate tasks, without any hesitation.

But while using this product in a very busy commercial place it is recommended to enhance its storage capacity to 1TB.

The initial storage and ram capacity is enough for handling huge PDFs quite smoothly.

One of the main issues with this PC is that the users can’t attach more than 1 TB storage unit to it.

Ports & Connectivity

As it is a very compactly designed desktop; the users can’t expect numerous numbers of USB ports like the other regular systems.

The ports that are present at the front side of the chassis are already discussed in the ‘Design & Build’ section of this article.

Here we are discussing the ports present in the rare section of the chassis and the other connectivity features present in this device.

On the rare side of the chassis, there are three USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, and one Ethernet (RJ-45) port.

There is also one display port and one HDMI port. These ports are really helpful to the users who use this desktop on a regular basis.

This desktop of Lenovo comes with both wireless Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth 5.0 is prebuilt in this device.

This PC has Intel Wireless-AC 9260 (dual band) connectivity.

As we can see, in this device the users are not getting plenty of USB ports but they are getting most of the updated USB ports and connectivity features.

Additional Features

This small form factor desktop of Lenovo comes with an inbuilt speaker. It has an internal speaker of 1.5 watts.

It produces HD audio. To run this PC smoothly the users need an adapter of 65 Watt that is also present in the package.

This particular device offers a Lenovo traditional keyboard and a Lenovo calliope mouse. Both of them are of black color.

This system comes with a conditional warranty of one year from the manufacturer’s end.

To stay the inner temperature of the chassis at a limit, this PC uses cooling fans.

So, we can expect heating issues in this system while performing any high end tasks and the users can also face some irritating noises generated from these fans.

Initially, on this Lenovo desktop, there is no optical drive.
