During our evaluation of the HP EliteDesk 800 G1, we subjected its CPU to various tests across different benchmarks to assess its performance in diverse scenarios. Overall, we found that the CPU performed admirably, achieving commendable scores across multiple aspects.

In terms of single-core performance, the CPU scored 112 points, with an overall bench score of 76.6%, indicating robust performance in general computing tasks.

However, we observed that the multi-core performance of the CPU was comparatively lower, with a score of 551 points on the CPU Benchmark tests. Despite this, the processor effectively handled various computing tasks, including web browsing, Excel calculations, word processing in Word, video encoding, and software compiling.

Our technical experts also conducted tests on memory latency, which yielded an average score of 84.2 points, demonstrating satisfactory performance.

When testing gaming capabilities, we found that the CPU adequately supported gaming, although streaming 3D games posed challenges unless the game settings were adjusted to low settings. This limitation was attributed to the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 video card.

Benchmark tests, such as the 3D DX9, revealed an average benchmark score of 2.97% for the GPU. During gaming sessions, the GPU struggled to render images at a frame rate of 5.3 fps on average, which was considered unimpressive.

In particular, fast-paced 3D games like CSGO, LOL, and GTA V presented significant challenges for the GPU. However, when played at the lowest settings, the GPU managed to render images at frame rates ranging between 20 and 45 fps, showcasing its capability under optimized conditions.

In conclusion, while the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 demonstrated strong performance in general computing tasks, its gaming performance was hindered by limitations in GPU capabilities, particularly in handling high-intensity 3D games. Adjusting game settings to low levels could improve performance, but users seeking a gaming-focused experience may need to consider alternative solutions with more robust GPU configurations.
