What is 4K display? The 4K display basically is the name for the standardized High Definition or HD resolutions. It gets its name from the number of pixels of the images counted horizontally and not vertically. This specific resolution has roughly 4000 pixels horizontally and 2000 pixels vertically.

The other name for a 4K display is UHD 4K. This means that when the consumers want to get a television or monitor which is a 4K display, it is actually an Ultra HD 4K display they are looking for.
In a 4K display, the image is actually 3840 pixels wide and 2160 pixels high. This means that, going by the width and height ratio, a 4K display is twice the width and height of 1080p resolution. This makes a 4 K display much larger than 1080p resolution.
It is known that a full HD resolution has 1080p and comes with almost 2 million pixels in comparison to a 4K display which comes with approximately 8 million pixels, which is another reason it is called 4K.

- There is no loss in the screen resolution, pixel count or quality of the image.
The larger area will ensure more clarity, vibrancy and sharpness in the picture. Along with this, another important factor that has driven more people to buy 4K monitors is that there is an increase in the content in 4K resolution. As for the price, it is bound to come down pretty soon.
In short, it can be said that the 4K resolution or the Ultra high definition is becoming the new standard of display in high definition.
